How To Become A Volunteer

Support Their Education

See how you can make a difference in Adolescent Mothers' families lives with just $60 a month

Each year the foundation celebrates special days such as New Year, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, and Father’s day & Christmas together with our EPAs. We collect toys, food stuff, toiletries and outerwear for young moms and their children.

Education

Education is transformational for individuals and societies--it creates pathways to better health, economic growth, a sustainable environment, and peaceful, democratic societies. Girls who have received minimal education are 5 times more likely to become a mother than those with higher levels of education.

A person’s earnings increase by 10 percent with each year of school they complete. When girls are educated, their families are healthier, they have fewer children, they get married later, and they have more opportunities to generate income.

We Make a Difference in their Life

news and updates

We call our young mothers (10-24 years old) Sparkles. A sparkle is something that shines by radiating flashes of light. Despite their current life situation, we still see a bright future in the lives of these young ‘Sparkles’ that can only become a reality through collaboration, mentorship and empowerment.

We believe that “Unity is strength… when there is teamwork and collaboration wonderful things are achieved’’.

Sparkle Again Foundation - Support Teenage mothers and youth Children
Sparkle Again Foundation Adolescent Mother
  • When a girl gets pregnant, the family peace is disrupted & in most occasions, the mother to the adolescent is blamed for the pregnancy with claims that she has failed in her parenting. The fathers reject the adolescent & in most cases resort to alcoholism or even fleeing the home leaving the mother with a huge burden. It’s even close to impossible when the adolescent desires to go back to school after delivery.

We work with the national government to reconcile families & even encourage the parents to take care of the child as the mother goes back to school.

  • We believe that every youth needs entrepreneurial skills to successfully navigate in today’s world.

We have a serious problem of a global skills gap. We also know that the global market can’t keep pace with the vast numbers of young people entering every year.  We support young people on the path to employment and economic independence by equipping them with life skills which enables them to fulfil their potential as confident, responsible team players who can succeed in creating their own opportunities or in the workforce and that helps in shaping local economies. An investment in life skills aligns youth and employer needs, translating to business value and progress on youth employment
