EDUCATION AND YOUTH EMPOWERMENT (EYE)

SDG 4: Quality Education – “Empowering Futures through Education”

PROGRAMS

  1. Education Empowerment (EE)

We believe every child deserves a brighter tomorrow, no matter where they come from. By providing access to education, we’re not just opening doors; we’re building pathways to health, prosperity, and empowered societies. Through holistic mentorship programs in schools and the wider community, we guide and support students, ensuring they have the tools to succeed and thrive.

  1. Teen Parent Program (TPP)

We empower teenage mothers, fathers, and expectant teenagers to break the cycle of poverty and prevent child abuse. Through education, entrepreneurial training, and support, we provide a comprehensive framework for success. Additionally, we form support groups where they find understanding and encouragement from peers facing similar challenges. Together, we’re building a brighter future for these teen parents. Join us in being a part of their journey towards success.

  1. Leadership Development (LD)

Empowering leaders of tomorrow, we offer comprehensive leadership training to adolescents, emphasizing self-leadership and decision-making skills. Our program extends beyond individuals, enriching communities and contributing to the progress of our nation. By empowering adolescents to lead, we foster positive change, creating a ripple effect that benefits society at large. Join us in nurturing the leaders of tomorrow for a better world today.

We advocate for comprehensive sexuality education and access to adolescent and youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health services. Our programs challenge gender inequality, provide accurate information, and empower young people to make informed decisions about their health and bodies

  1. Sexual Gender-Based Violence (SGBV)

Our mission is to combat Sexual Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), with a strong focus on protecting children, and to eliminate harmful traditional practices like female genital mutilation (FGM). Through educational initiatives, we empower children with knowledge and awareness about SGBV, aiming to prevent future instances and foster a culture of safety and respect. We work closely with partners to identify minors experiencing SGBV, providing them with comprehensive support including medical, legal, and counselling assistance. Additionally, we raise awareness and empower communities to recognize and report SGBV incidents, breaking the silence and stigma surrounding this critical issue.
